Honeybee_legacy doesn't work after I install Ladybug Tools

After I installed Ladybug Tools 1.7.0 using pollination, Honeybee’s power simulation component didn’t work, the error message is“1.Solution exception: the type initializer for OpenStudio.OpenStudioModelCorePINVOKE” throws an exception. My computer has openstudio 2.5.0 and 3.6.1 installed, and by changing the openstudio path in the Honeybee ver0.0.66 component, the component has run successfully with no error.

But running a energy consumption simulation is an open studio error.

Hi @tstargazer ,

Legacy Honeybee does not work with newer OpenStudio installations.

If you want to have both Legacy Honeybee and LBT Honeybee installed, you install the old OpenStudio in its default location and the new OpenStudio at C:\Users\[USERNAME]\ladybug_tools.

Or you could just use the free Pollination single-click installer to install the new LBT 1.7, which will come with OpenStudio in a way that does not interfere with Legacy. You’ll see many similar discussions about this on the forum.
