Honeybee sDA calculation

Hello,

I want to calculate the the percentage of the room area on which an illuminance of 300 lux is recorded for at least 50% of the daylight hours of the year.
I am using the annual daylight component and the sDA component.
When I consider the default value for the target time (50% as indicated in the explanation), I obtain an sDA value of about 8%.
However, when I provide the target time as 50%, the result is totally different and I obtain an sDA value of about 60%.
Attached are the two images of the sDA component (with default value and custom value).
Moreover, I attach the image of the whole workflow.
I am a bit confused about the sDA component and the calculation of the sDA value, can you please help me?

Thanks in advance for your help,
Erika

Hi @erikas,

You have to use the percentage value, and not the decimal value. If you insert 50 instead of 0.5 it should give the same result. Note that the sDA output is the decimal value.

Thank you very much for the reply!
It works correctly now,

Erika
