How do I correlate Butterflys' accessible version of OpenFoam to actual OpenFoam version numbers?

I have installed Butterfly with the latest blueCFD-core2017…

An OpenFOAM-5.x folder was created for OpenFoam…

How does this installed version of OpenFOAM-5.x relate to say OpenFoam v1712 that was released 31/12/2017?

The reason I ask is because I would like to try the cfmesh algorithm and I do not see cfmesh as available in Butterfly nor is it in the OpenFOAM-5.x directory or subdirectories…

cfmesh was introduced beginning in OpenFoam v1712…

Is there a way to try cfmesh algorithm in Butterfly?

@tristen I also wanted to use cfMesh for meshing.But the current version of Butterfly does not support cfMesh. If you want to use it, you should use follow this tutorial.
