Is it possible to calculate PGSV, which is a glare evaluation index, using the results calculated by Ladybug Tool’s “HB Point-In-Time View-Based” component?
According to the document below, it seems that PGSV can be calculated by changing the Radiance settings, but I did not understand how to change the settings.
I would appreciate it if you could let me know if you know anything.
Thank you in advance.
Yes, that should be possible. However, you cannot use HB Glare Postprocess to calculate PGSV. You would have to create the masking file and run evalglare in command-line. Jan Wienold has an example in his presentation from this year’s Radiance Workshop on slides 92 and 93.
I thought it would be possible to calculate PGSV using the results calculated by HB Glare Postprocess, but it seems like that is not possible.
I will try to find the PGSV using the materials you shared as a reference.
I briefly checked the documentation, but it seems difficult to obtain PGSV on grasshopper.
