How to extract temperature of a specific aperture (single window or shading) in Honeybee / EnergyPlus

Hello everyone,

I am trying to obtain the surface temperature of a specific element in my model (for example the first south-facing window on the second floor).

Currently I can read zone level outputs and general surface outputs, but I cannot isolate the temperature of one individual aperture/shade/wall instance.

I want to track the temperature of a single window (or a single shading surface) over time.

The simulation outputs seem aggregated, and I do not understand how to reference a specific HB object inside the EnergyPlus results.

Questions

  1. How can I request the temperature of one specific surface/aperture?
  2. Do I need to assign a unique identifier or name to the HB face/aperture?
  3. Which exact output variable should be used (Surface Outside Face Temperature, Inside Face Temperature, Aperture temperature, etc.)?

I attached pictures showing the case.

Thank you!
