FYI , @ccyen . The installer.gh file for the LBT 1.9 release that I just made will give a warning to install Rosetta2 if the CPU type is sensed to be ARM64.
Hopefully, this helps avoid confusion for the Mac users who install Ladybug Tools but do not install any of the engines (maybe because they only plan to use it for climate graphics).
If you test the LBT 1.9 installer and let me know whether the message the installer component gives is clear, I would appreciate it. I don’t have an ARM Mac to test all of this myself.
