Interzone airwalls error

Hi,

I am trying to make a very simple energy simulation for a naturally ventilated space. The windows are modeled to recreate holes so that they are fully open 24/7. The boundary faces are assumed to be adiabatic since I just want to see the impact of the airflow in the rooms temperatures in isolation.
I constantly obtain this error which I cannot identify what is the source.

Does anybody have had this same error? how did you solve it? I tried everything but nothing works. Is there any output to verify that interzone ventilation is taking place and working as expected?

Curious fact: if I model the zones by faces instead of solids the same geometry works. I could not yet figure out why.

I found out that if you model the airwalls the same size as the adjacent surface it would lead to an error, a small gap should be left as it happens with windows and other subface elements.
