a follow up on this topic, just to clarify the use of HB UTCI comfort map.
- I’ve read elsewhere on this forum (1.2 HB Outdoor UTCI Comfort Map error (on Mac) - #4 by chris), that one needs to setup rooms in order for this component to run correctly. But I see now that you recommend using shades. Is this really so? I am also looking into using this component for an outdoor study, and I really only have a dumb, non-watertight structure as a shade.
- Also, does it matter how far the structure and analysis is from (0,0,0), when considering sun angles and so on? hopefully it shouldn’t, but I guess it depends on how robust the code is, and how radiation is applied.
