Ladybug Mesh Edges Triangulating

Is there anything I can do to clean up the way LB creates meshes? Even on rectangular surfaces, I always seem to get triangulated edges. Does this skew results at all, or is area of mesh face not connected to daylighting, radiation, and draft calculations? I’ve attached a screenshot example.


Hi Jim,

You can create any mesh that you need and feed it into Ladybug for the analysis. In that case Ladybug will use the input mesh as it is.
