Ladybug Photovoltaics does not work with .epw file path

Hi everyone,
i’m trying to simulate a photovoltaics study. when i connect the PhotovoltaicsSurface with a .epw file from a weather url with LB Download Weather the simulation works but it does not work with my own .epw file from a file path. The .epw file is not broken cause it does work with LB Import EPW for example. What am i doing wrong?

UPDATE
i opened the .epw-file with Elements, renamed it and saved it once again. et voilá: it works! don’t know why, but it works
