Hi. I’m looking to be able to draw the shadow of a window sill on a sun path with the Ladybug, but as far as I know, Component “shading mask” outputs do not give my desired output. I want an output similar to the left of the image.

It looks like you are modeling a “real” overhang geometry that has a finite width, which results in the corners of the shading mask being exposed to the sky. If you want to model an infinitely wide overhang that extends all of the way to the edges of the sky dome, all that you have to do is plug in an angle for
_overhang_proj_ like so:
