I’ve recently found a behaviour which looks like a bug for the Sunpath component. It came about when doing outdoor sunlight analysis.
If additional hourly data is supplied to the Sunpath component then the sun vectors output is limited to 1 per hour. So if you want to do a finer direct sun exposure analysis you need to disconnect any additional data into the Sunpath component.
Not a major issue as the workaround is very simple, just some behaviour that might catch a few people out.
The data that comes straight out of the EPW component is always hourly. So any time that you plug this hourly data into the Sunpath, you will only be able to view sun positions on hourly timesteps.
However, if you use the LB Convert to Timestep component, you can convert this hourly EPW data into sub-hourly data, thereby allowing you to see sun positions at sub-hourly timesteps like so:
