Mass2Zone module - error

Hello, I’m currently working on Honeybee and I’m pretty new to it. I did simple box houses and used video tutorial that worked properly. But now I’m working on a school project with an actual example house that I modeled in Rhino and even though this is still the beginning of the GH definition - it has errors…
I wanted to attach the rhino and GH files - they are simply a house model and a GH definition including only a brep of closed objects and a Mass2Zone component that doesn’t want to work - but since I’m a new user I can’t so I will put a link to download them online… I tried to intersect the masses but this doesn’t work as well and I don’t understand why.
The solutions that I tried so far:

  • redoing the geometry a few times to make sure everything is closed and next to each other.
  • after finding a similar question here and the person fixed it by updating ladybug and honeybee - did that as well.
Result is so far the same… Hope someone can help me

PS: In the rhino model for the GH definition I only use the TEST layer!

Hi @Anna,

I could find the following errors.

  1. Your document units where set in cm. To avoid geometry issues you should work in meters.
  2. You did not let honeybee fly.

  1. There are probably some small geometry issues in your document.
Perhaps it is better to model you document in 2d plans and extrude them.

Hi, Thank you so much for the comments. I will try to fix it now.
