Matrix-based Methods

Hello!

I am performing parametric daylight simulations using HoneyBee+ and I was wondering if I can use Daylight Coefficients using balconies as shading devices. The Balconies are square-shaped and have simple geometry. Should I use the Three-Phase Method or should I keep using the Two-Phase?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Iris, if the balconies are protruding out with respect to the window( as I suppose all balconies do), I think the choice would between Daylight Coefficients (Two-Phase) and the Four-Phase Method. Even in that scenario, Four-Phase would be an overkill. I think Daylight Coefficients will be your best bet.
