Maximum Heating Supply Air Humidity Ratio&Minimum Cooling Supply Air Humidity Ratio


I noticed that the sample file IdealLoad sets these two parameters, which influence heating performance. However, Honeybee (HB) doesn’t offer a way to configure them.Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

@670 you can solve this with the ironbug ideal air loads template and use a params component on the ideal air loads component, it will give you lots of possible inputs

I am working on a mixed-mode simulation. My workflow works perfectly when using the native HB Ideal Air Loads. However, when I replace the HVAC with an Ironbug component (to simulate detailed HVAC ) and connect it to the HB Airflow Network, the simulation fails.

The HB Model to OSM component gives the following error: 1. Solution exception:Failed to translate Model to OpenStudio.

It seems like the AFN component conflicts with the Ironbug objects during translation. Is there a way to make them work together, or is Ironbug currently not compatible with the native AFN component?
