Modeling DHW with heat pump

Hi,

I am trying to model an urban area with different buildings. Each building has a commercial ground floor and upper floors are residential.
I would like to have a heat pump for each building capable to fulfill also DHW.
I cannot find a way to do this. Results show that water production is made with district heating water as shown in the attached image.

Hi @erikas ,

Sorry for the late reply here. To model heat pump water heaters in dragonfly, you’ll want to use the DF SHW System component along with the HB SHW Templates component to specify that you want to model a heat pump system.

Just bear in mind that you will have to set the _condition_ of the SHW system to be one of the Room2Ds of each building in order to use a heat pump system since the heat pump will pull heat from that room to make the hot water.
