Hello fellow bug users, I was wondering if anyone has any experience modeling ‘flap curtains’
I assume that the ventilation properties of a normal E+/OS door could be finagled into representing a flap curtain, but I’m not sure of the ventilation property values to use.
This is just for a personal experiment nothing important, rough guesses and estimates welcome

Hi @TrevorFedyna
It is an interesting topic. One thing is you can check the pressure of the neighboring room. If the pressure is the same, the airflow will be very small and just happen around the curtain door. Two thing, Maybe you can count the crossing times per hour, assume the difference pressure is 4 Pa. the curtain door area is 4 m².
In this process, static pressure is converted into dynamic pressure. For dynamic p = 0.5 * density * velocity * velocity, airflow velocity is 2.82 m/s. The airflow volume is 11.28 (2.82 * 4) m³.
If this case happend 10 time per hour, the ventilation between two room is 112.8m³/h.
