I have been closely following the posts related to PCM (Phase Change Material) modeling in Honeybee/EnergyPlus via Grasshopper, but I’m encountering difficulties with setting up the additional strings input for the IDF file. Specifically, I am uncertain about how to properly configure the Heat Balance Algorithm to use the Conduction Finite Difference (CFD) method.
I would greatly appreciate any guidance or support on how to:
1- Add the required strings to the IDF file for PCM modeling.
2- Change the heat balance algorithm to Conduction Finite Difference within the Grasshopper workflow.
3- Ensure that the PCM material is correctly modeled within the simulation.
I’ve attached my Grasshopper definition for reference. Any help from the community would be immensely appreciated!
