Problem connecting Ladybug with Rhino.Inside Revit

Hi there, I’m having a trouble while trying to use Ladybug in Revit through Rhino.Inside… When I open a Grasshopper file with some ladybug components and scripts through Revit, it appears an error which doesn’t show when I open through Rhino:

When I open this file outside Revit, it runs normally… does anyone know what happened?

Hi @dmaraujo,

Still using different version in one flow?

this is actually not interfering here, because even if I delete all older components, it still appears those errors when I bring the component down to the canvas. Look my script now, with all LB components at the latest version (1.8.0):

I’m not sure if the Rhino.Inside Revit is not compatible with this latest version, because it runs normally with the older components. However, it doesn’t make sense because it should run with all those versions.

best,
-Daniel

Hi @dmaraujo,

Sorry, this is something I can not help you with. I am not so into Revit.
Perhaps you can use Speckle instead.

or the polination app.

I faced this error before. This means that there is a problem with your Ladybug installation. Did you try reinstalling ladybug? That’s how I fixed it I think.

no problem, thanks anyway

yeah I figured out that I needed to run a pyhton file. I actually didn’t need to reinstall Ladybug, only running this file worked for me. I think it’s the “set_pyhton_path.bat”. Thanks!
