I want to add the constructions to the external walls after I did all the HB rooms by mass. But I found the HB Exterior Construction Subset component can’t add constructions to the external walls separately. Does that mean I need to rebuild all the rooms by faces? 
No. You can do that by doing the following;
You may also create your own construction and assign them the way I have above.

I have tried to do it by your method. But some new problems occurred. How can I assign different constructions to the walls belonging to the same room? (like the picture show)
And how to assign construction by cardinal direction? ( the faces that had the same normal vector will be assigned the same construction)
I believe this will take you to model zones by surface route and you might be aware of it already. I am not sure about any other way to accomplish this.
In Ladybug-Legacy plugin there’s a component named Ladybug_separate by normal. It might help.
