Question about settings on Radiance

Dear Ladybuggers,

I had a curiosity about Radiance.
Recently about a requested comparison between HB and other daylight software, I noticed that the other software, had on the main settings for analyzing daylight factor, 2 options that intrigued me:

  • Sample rays per sensor pass (nr to insert from 0-100)
  • Max number of passes (nr to insert from 0-100)

I wanted to ask what affected these two options and if they are also present in HB.
