I am new to Ladybug Tools and currently exploring their use for a building PV project. So far, I have utilized the Climate Studio PV module in Grasshopper to design my module. However, I have a few questions and would appreciate your guidance:
- PV Model Used in Climate Studio:
- Which calculation model does the Climate Studio PV component use?
- I could not find this information on Solemma’s website. Could you clarify?
- Ladybug Tools’ “Renewables” and Module Issues:
- While using the latest version of Ladybug Tools, I noticed the “Renewables” are marked as outdated. Despite this, I obtained data from the “Simplified Photovoltaics Module.” Is it still recommended to use this module?
- When I tried using the “Import Sandia Photovoltaics Module,” the Ladybug Photovoltaics Surface Module returned the error: “Solution exception: Negative values can’t be raised to a fraction.” What could be the cause of this error, and how can I resolve it?
