Run Energy Simulation

Hello again everyone,

Would anyone be able to assist me with the following errors out of the Run Energy Simulation component?

  1. The simulation has not run correctly because of this severe error:
    ** Severe ** [ShadowCalculation][ShadowCalculation 1][shading_calculation_method] - “AverageOverDaysInFrequency” - Failed to match against any enum values.

  2. The simulation has not run correctly because of this severe error:
    ** Severe ** [ShadowCalculation][ShadowCalculation 1][shading_calculation_update_frequency_method] - “30” - Failed to match against any enum values.

I’ve tried a number of things like rebuilding the definition in a separate GH file using a simple box as the geometry but nothing seems to work. Anyhelp would be appreciated.

Hi again, after a long day I found the solution with deleting openstudio 3.0 and installing openstudio 2.1.0 instead. It worked for me, I hope it will be usefull also for you

I’ll give that a go and see if it solves my problem.

for people who will face this kind of error
i could solve it by:
1-change openstudio installation path from C:\ to C:\Program Files
2-install older version of energyplus like 8.9
