SHD Designer generating thousands of surfaces

Helloo there

I did a simple test for a sheading device uing LB SHDDesigner. I need to block the sun from mid march to mid September from 12 to 4 pm. Sunpath generates 600 vectors SHDDesigner components generates 2400 srfs based on 0.56m distance between them. Is this normal? The Gh file becomes super slow.

Hi Claudio. Yes. This is normal. In case you want a single shading for each step based on the distance set MergeVectors to True, otherwise shading designer will generate a single surface for each vector. -Mostapha
