Hi,
One of my students get the following screens when trying to install LBT with the latest version (1.14.8) of the pollination installer.
I don’t get what is it about, but suspect it is related to language issues. If so (or anything else) will appreciate your wise advice to get it solved.

For what is worth, this is the contents of the program Files/ladybug tools folder:
And those are the sizes of the folders included:
The grasshopper folder is smaller than what it is supposed to be (15 Mb) but the other 3 are the right size.
Some folders and files are missing (of course, since the installation was interrupted).
This post is for debugging purposes.

Hi,
The problem was solved.
There was a need to set the current language for non-unicode programs to the local language + use unicode UTF-8 for worldwide support. All this in the Region Settings.

Same error message: different cause #1:
We have encountered a student who had a previous version of Python installed (from an engineering course he had done before). we ran a Windows Settings App Uninstall process for that version of Python and the installer ran with no errors and the installation was successful!

Same error message: different cause #2
We also encountered a student with RAV anti-virus software that did not report what it was blocking, but which caused this same error to be reported by the Pollination installer. Turning off RAV made installation successful.
