Solar glare from reflective surfaces

Dear @chris (thank you for the incredible work you have been doing), All Users (thanks for your contributions),

Is there a way in Honeybee to calculate veiling glare assessments following Holladay / Hassall’s methodology?

Any tips would be appreciated.

So far, I have calculated the veiling luminance for one specific time, including the luminance from the sky. In principle, luminance from the reflective surfaces should only be considered.

Hi @Mat1 ,

Sorry that we forgot to answer your question a few months ago. The HB Glare Postprocess component can give you Veiling Luminance under the glare_indices output.
