Good evening,
I’m running a test to see the effect of the surface geometry on the amount of solar radiation that reaches the surface. I created 2 surfaces with different surface geometries and the same surface area. I ran the simulation twice, the first time was by connecting the same geometry to the context to shade itself, and the second time was without the context.
I have 2 issues I can’t understand:
- Why the two surfaces are getting different values of radiation even though they have the same surface area?
- When I connected the geometry into the context why it didn’t shade itself
I appreciate your help to make me understand that.
