A radiation study would be too simplistic to understand when a facade is overheated. In order to test this, I believe, you will have to tie your study to an energy simulation that can help you analyze indoor thermal comfort using a metric like PMV or adaptive comfort. These metrics have scale that define the conditions when it is too hot. In this indoor thermal comfort simulation, if you keep all the other parameters constant and just change the time of the year, you should be able to see the impact the radiation falling on the facade of the building has on thermal comfort. You will find examples of these workflows on hydra. Please look for “Indoor PMV Comfort” and “indoor adaptive comfort.”
