Hi all,
Ive been running this system through the pathway below with no issues so far but when i try to add it to a honeybee model it dosent like it. I need to attach it to a honeybee model so i can run it through a PV system
the full report says to traceback line 94 which reads as follows:
i recreated the error running the latest version of ladybug which provides a more detailed breakdown of the error.
@MingboPeng - any thoughts? This is waaay beyond my ability to assist with, but is exactly what I want my students (including @Nicolaskerr ) to be able to do (linking IronBug HVAC to Honeybee)
Thanks for reporting the issue, @Nicholaskerr . I see a few different versions of components in your screenshot so you should run the LB Sync Grasshopper File to make sure that they are all using the same version that you have installed. Still, this doesn’t seem to be the root cause of the issue.
From the traceback, it looks like you have made an Ironbug system that can’t be serialized to JSON and that the Ironbug executable can’t translate to OpenStudio. So @MingboPeng is the right person to interpret the traceback and explain what is going on.
Can you upload a minimal sample Grasshopper file so that we can recreate the issue on our end? That should make it much faster for us to figure out what exactly went wrong.
I agree with @chris. For the error in your screenshot, it is specific to how you modeled your HVAC system, and we will need a minimal sample file to recreate it.
