I’m trying to do a optimization of energy consumption of a building. I’m simulating the energy used for cooling and electric light, basically. When I use the energy balance component, the storage values are very high. Is there something wrong?
I believe this question has been asked before. It is most likely because you are missing natural ventilation energy from your energy balance component.

I added the natural ventilation to the calculation but the results in the energy balace didn’t change much. Is it a problem to have such high storage values? How can I make them smaller?
Seeing the type and size of the results i recommend to check ll settings of your model (like, all type of loads, window size, if conditioned or not, etc).
Indeed the size of the storage is not looking good for this case. Try to see why your heating and cooling are so small.
