For this reason, LBT 1.7 offers a HB Sensor Grid from Apertures component and a HB Sensor Grid from Faces component that can generate sensor grids along facades for use in these recipes.

Hi guys

I want to use the center point of each window in my model to calculate the sunlight hours on each window. I want the result to look like this, with one colour and value for each window.

I can easily find the center point a surface, but don’t know how to convert that into a mesh. And if I don’t have a mesh, I can’t use LB Spatial Heatmap to colour the surfaces.

This could be a nice feature to add to the HB Sensor Grid from Apertures component.

If you input a grid size number much bigger than the apertures size you can get single points with
HB Sensor Grid from Apertures.
