I’m trying to analyze how the surrounding trees affect a building. I was wondering if there is a component in the Honeybee software that can recognize trees and incorporate them into the analysis. If anyone is familiar with this functionality or knows how to use it, I would greatly appreciate your help.

Hi @Juhyung You can draw your trees and use them as shade objects for your analysis.

This github project offer the grasshopper scripts to generate decious tree geometry.
