UDI calculation and schedule dependency

Hi @mikkel and @mostapha,
I applied a generic interior solar modifier set to one of my rooms and I’m running the radiance model just one day (January 25th) using the default schedule (8-18) as shown in the screenshot. I’m focusing only on the sensor 10 of my grid. The first question is: how is UDI calculated? The illuminance hourly data are the ones in the excel I shared. If I understood correctly, the UDI should be calculated as: N hours between 100-3000/ N hours occupied, that in this case is 7/11=0.64. How can I get 0.19?

Moreover, I tried to input a constant schedule to the ANN component and I get different illuminance results, shown in the screenshot below. The natural daylight then depends on the occupancy schedule?

Please let me know what I’m missing. Thank you so much

Sania

Hi @Sania,

What you see here is actually 0.19% (not 19%) because it added occupied hours outside the simulated hours. I pushed some changes so that it takes into account if you are not simulating the whole year. You can get the changes by updating your core libraries with LB Versioner.

If you are still experiencing this, please share your file with internalized geometry if possible.

Thank you now it works!
