Using Dragon Fly to make an EPW File - Tutorial somewhere?

Hi,

I am looking to make an EPW file from 1 year of observations I have from my own wx station, they are in a csv…hourly obs. Wondering if there is a tutorial or directions somewhere for how to get started to build it correctly w/ the dragonfly components in GH?

The alternative_weather.gh sample file that comes with the latest LBT plugin on Food4Rhino can give you a sense of how you can create your own EPW file (in this case from NOAA NCDC data). That file and the other posts on this forum about it are probably your best resource for the time being.

Does Ladybug not work w/ R7 yet? Just installed it today and when I open GH and Ladybug tools I get the following error:

  1. Solution exception:
    Failed to import ladybug:
    No module named ladybug.epw

I reinstalled ladybug, w/ the latest from food4rhino, and still same error.

The LBT plugin is fully functional in Rhino 6 and Rhino 7 on both Mac and Windows.

You’re getting that error because you didn’t follow all of the installation instructions.

Hi, I am getting the same error.

@chris Is there any tutorial for the installation of Dragonfly? I’ve searched but I can’t find it.
