UTCI Comfort - Question about night-hours

I was wondering how this calculation actually works.
I’ve done several calculations and usually make 4 periods for spring, summer, fall and winter.

Temperatures in summer are usually quite low.
I’m figuring it’s because, night time temperature hours are taken into account as well.

If it comes to analyzing heat isles and so on, only day time hours are important.

Can someone share some light on this?
Does someone have an idea how to limit the weather data only to daytime hours?
