Weak_ptr Error in Ironbug Components

Hi @MingboPeng

I have been running into an issue where some ironbug components are returning an error 'Weak_ptr" especially the duplicate component. It seems to happen randomly

I can recompute, or reconnect a wire and the error goes away. But this causes big issues when I am using clusters and the error happens unnoticed within a cluster and part of the model is not being applied.

I have had this issue on multiple different files.

Is there a way to fix this issue or a work around?

Hi @cam_lawrence,

It is mostly because the OA system is not duplicatable.

You can duplicate “child” objects before OA system in order to create multiple OA systems, by following two ways.

Interesting, thanks for the info. I had been using this approach for other zone HVAC components but not for the outdoor air stream for some reason. I will try this approach and see if I get any issues. On another note, have you run into this issue before? is there something wrong with the configuration here:

updating to the latest version fixed this issue
