Hi
I have one important project study of university . at first I have just used example file of Chris to see the difference. so to compare I used one code with shade generator and another code without it. finally I compared results both of them
and discovered there is no diffrrence between total and cooling heating loads. they were exactly the same.
can somebody help please
Do you mean “exactly the same” as in the IDFs are identical? Or do you mean that the difference in cooling results is negligable? The latter is very common if shades are on the interior side of the glass since only a small portion of the solar heat usually makes it back out of the glass after it’s already gotten past the glass panes the first time around.
Hi
I went over and reconsidered. 'cos I told i was testing it on your file window shade generator in hydra. when i got the last toggle of openstudion true it went red.
then I tried just the second part of geometry in upstairs. this time it worked but no differences jn cooling results. then I reconsidere finally i saw in your example file the window was on north facade.
when I tried my geometry in South facade then it was OK.
now problem is this
why lighting loads either is the same whether I have window or not. for testing i made a geometry with no window the lighting load was the same as I have bjg windows
why openstudio and energy pluse doesn’t estimate light loads considering daylight .
there maybe some reasons so let me ask you this way when i have window how can I consider daylight in light load of e+ or openstudio besides cooling and heating load ???
