Dear Forum,
I had the problem with getting the service hot water calculation done in the OSM simulation which is gone now, thanks to the update to the latest version using the LB versioner and LB GH Sync component.
Unfortunately the LB dependencies (OpenStudio 3.7, Radiance, etc.) did not update in parallel and I had problems to get it to work again. In the end I used the approach to just install OpenStudio in the same directory it was installed before (so it deletes the previous installation) like mentioned in this post:
https://discourse.ladybug.tools/t/openstudio-version-problem/22492
But now I run into some errors which could result from the not correct linking of the updated Open Studio version, but not sure about it as it somehow works:
- during startup multiple loading errors
- multiple warnings and no clue how to get rid of them or if they interfere with the simulation
Now my questions:
how to update LB and all the dependencies correctly to avoid several hours of installing and deinstalling?
is the “HB set conditioned component” mandatory now and the input field “conditioned” of the “LB Room component” is not recognized any more?
how to deal with the warnings in the OSM output like unused schedules, weather file, unused constructions, LCA energy cost, unused variables?
fyi also my working file which should have the geo internalized.
greets,
Martin
