I requested both OTTV and solar gains for a building for two months.
The model shows values for solar gains higher than that of OTTV. (Units for both are total heat gain in Kwh for two months)
Since OTTV includes solar gains (or gains from windows via direct transmittance), in addition to gains via conduction, OTTV should be greater in all cases ( also as mentioned in OTTV (Overall Thermal Transfer Value) calculation method with Honeybee?)
Please suggest.
